Africa’s Growing Airline Industry

Forecasts for Africa’s imminent economic leap have been made by all manner of organizations. In the airline industry, airline manufacturer Boeing has been forecasting growth on the African continent for several years now and this year’s outlook is even more exciting. During the recent International Air Transport Authority conference in Johannesburg, the company said it anticipates that the continent will need 1,088 new planes and 36000 technicians to fly and maintain those planes over the next few years.
