Global coronavirus cases top 500,000: WHO
There have been more than half a million confirmed Covid-19 cases worldwide and in excess of 20,000 deaths, the World Health Organization’s Director General said.
Dr Tedros Adhanom said more than 100,000 have recovered from the disease.
"There are now more than 1/2 a million confirmed cases of #COVID19 & more than 20,000 deaths.
