#AfricanNationsInHighSchool: online satire sees African countries depicted as students

19 year old Siyanda, a writer and student at the Univeristy of Botswana, asked her Twitter followers one question:

This started the hashtag #AfricanNationsInHighSchool which saw a satirical portrayal of African countries as students in secondary school.

It created a buzz on the Africa’s online community as it trended in many countries from January 12th.
