Exactly one month after a military operation that led to the fall of Robert Mugabe, a ZANU-PF congress has confirmed Emerson Mnangagwa as the ruling party’s new leader.

He replaces Mugabe not just in office, but also on billboards, t-shirts, stickers and other accessories and for most party supporters who for the past 37 years have been used to former President Mugabe’s smiling spectacled face on all party the feeling is surreal.

The new president’s regalia during the just ended ZANU-PF congress became huge money-spinners, as Farai Mwakutuya reports.
