Tobacco farmers in Zimbabwe call for reform to ensure sustainable production

Zimbabwe’s export earnings from tobacco have increased to over $ 700 M in the eight months to November, buoyed by higher prices and demand from China.

The industry is now calling for further government reforms to ensure the sustainable production of the golden leaf.
