Nigerian government encourages consumption of locally made goods

Nigeria is desperately trying to wean itself off imports to reduce pressure on its dwindling foreign exchange reserves.

As a result, there’s been renewed focus on the “Buy Nigeria, Build Nigeria” campaign. It encourages Nigerians to consume locally made products, which don’t require dollars to import.
