Japan ATM scam on Standard Bank reignites fears

The ATM fraud incident has brought into light just how unprepared most companies are, to deal with cybercrime.

When PriceWaterHouseCoopers looked into the matter in its last economic crimes survey, it found a sharp rise of 23%, in the number of reported cybercrime among respondents.

A third of the firms surveyed had been affected by some kind of cybercrime, but 16%, had no clue if they were victims.
