Johannesburg in search of the city’s future tech entrepreneurs

Read < 1 minute

The City of Johannesburg in South Africa is unearthing ICT entrepreneurs with the hope that their innovative technological ideas can help solve some of the City’s problems and drive job creation.

Start ups are being born with the help of what’s called The #Hack.Jozi Challenge.

The Challenge is a project of the City of Johannesburg and the Joburg Centre for Software Engineering at Wits University.

And it’s looking for entrepreneurs to come up with innovative digital ideas to help enrich communities.

CCTV’s Julie Scheier takes up the story.
