Twenty-two years ago Rwanda was on its knees.
In the wake of the 1994 genocide, thousands were dead, many more were fleeing, and government services were non-existent.
But from economic growth rates of negative 11.4 in 1994 to positive 6.9 in 2015, the East African nation has reversed the script and is rapidly becoming an economic hub.
And now in 2016, the country is welcoming the world’s top financial minds for the 2016 World Economic Forum on Africa in the capital Kigali.
