Seasonal rains in C.A.R. heighten risk of diseases in displacement camps

Despite relative calm in the Central African Republic, thousands of people are still displaced ,sheltering at the Bangui airport in the county’s capital.

Aid agencies have warned that the the arrival of heavy, seasonal rains will be devastating for the displaced, who mainly live in makeshift tents and at a heightened risk of water-borne diseases.
