Somali gov’t issues stern warnings to terror funders, supporters

Read < 1 minute

Reactions have been streaming in following Sunday’s deadly blast in the town of Baidoa in Somalia.

The government is concerned over al-Shabaab’s fresh push – not only in remote towns, but in the capital Mogadishu too.

On Friday, two suicide blasts ripped through a busy Mogadishu street.

A hotel popular with government officials was the target. It’s been relatively calm there for years now – so the double suicide blasts have many people voicing concern.

CCTV’s Abdulaziz Billow has more on that story.
