Nigerian authorities struggling to resettle millions of IDPs
The Nigerian Government is busy reconstructing the region after years under the Boko Haram insurgency. Authorities are trying to resettle millions of people displaced by the violence, with refugees trying to build a new community.
More than 2 Million people have been displaced from their homes and they have been living in poor conditions as IDP’s, While a huge lot have are still living in IDP camps others can’t wait any longer, and have moved out of the camps waiting for peace to return to their homes.
Although relative peace is gradually returning to the state, many are still unable to return home for fear of reprisal attacks.
So for now all they do is hope that someday soon, it will be safe enough to resume a normal life in their original homes.
