China to assist the Middle East economically and security wise
Chinese President Xi Jinping speech to the Arab League has unveiled China’s package, which includes anti-terrorism cooperation in promoting peace and development plus investing in industrialization.
The President said China is not looking to replace the United States in the vacuum it has left but rather to promote peace talks and promote peace talks and seek win-win cooperation through the Belt and Road Initiative.
Xi said that political dialogue is the solution to any crisis. He announced 50 million Yuan will be used to assist and support solar power station in Palestine. He also promised 230 million yuan of additional humanitarian assistance this year to the people of Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya and Yemen.
The Chinese President rejected the idea of linking terrorism with specific ethnic group or religion, saying that it will only create ethnic and religious tensions.
China will be giving 300 million dollars into law enforcement cooperation, training the police and also in building the states within the Arab States to stability.
A 15 billion dollar special loan for production capacity production and infrastructure will be given to Middle East by china to promote industrialization. A commercial loan of 10 billion dollars to support production capacity cooperation, and 10 billion U.S. dollars of concessional loans will also be issued to the Arab world.
A joint investment fund worth 20 billion will be launched by China in partnership with the UAE and Qatar primarily to invest in traditional energy, infrastructure development and high-end manufacturing industries in the Middle East
