The movie hit North American theaters with a vengeance Friday, earning 57 million dollars.

That’s a new record beating ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2’ which earned 43.5 million dollars.

Analysts believe one of some interesting Star Wars-related products could generate 2 billion U.S.dollars in sales this holiday season.
