Rediscovering Africa: Railways strengthen China-Africa ties

The Tanzania Zambia Railway, a Chinese aided project completed nearly half a century ago, will inevitably come up in any discussion of China-Africa ties.

But now, that railway is not the only Chinese-built route in Africa.

Our reporter Xu Zhaoqun visited one of the modern railways being built in East Africa, and filed the following story.
