Kenya’s President Uhuru Kenyatta has urged the East African Legislative Assembly to accelerate efforts to implement a Common Market Protocol to hasten regional integration.

He told a meeting of the assembly in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, that the free movement of people, goods, capital and services within the region will lead to greater economic development.
