Man decapitated in suspected Islamist attack in France

A man has been beheaded and at least one other person injured in a suspected Islamist attack at a gas factory in the French city of Lyon.

The attacker who was carrying an Islamic flag killed one person and injured several others at a gas factory in eastern France, AFP reported, citing a legal source.

A man believed to be the person who carried out the attack was later arrested.

The  decapitated body was found nearby the factory.

Sources in France said that the remains of the victims body were put on display.  Its is not clear how many people have been injured.

The attack comes nearly six months after the attacks in and around Paris that killed 17 people in January that started with a shooting at satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo.
