Namibia Minimum Wage: Domestic Workers Monthly Wages Doubled

Namibia’s government has introduced a minimum wage for this sector for domestic workers: doubling their monthly wages and providing for overtime, leave and transport fees. The move has however been met with mixed reactions. Some say it is unsustainable, while the union representing the workers argues it is still too little. CCTV’s Susan Mwongeli reports.
