Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao says he will be focusing on recovering from a shoulder injury as he arrived in Manila on Wednesday.

Wearing a shoulder sling, Pacquaio spoke shortly after his hero’s welcome at Manila international airport.

The Filipino southpaw entered the fight with a shoulder injury that was suffered during preparation for the bout. Pacquiao underwent successful surgery on his right shoulder last week, just days after his loss to Floyd Mayweather.

Pacquiao declined to comment on Mayweather’s statement accusing him of being a sore loser and reiterated that he won the match.The Phillipino also did not disclose his future plans to run for a higher seat in the Philippine government
