Egypt Street Vendors: Relocation of Hundreds of Vendors Sparks Anger

Street vendors in Cairo have had a terrible Labor Day. The government cleared over 500 vendors from the biggest square in the city, ostensibly to ease traffic congestion. As CCTV’s Adel El Mahrouky reports, some of those vendors have been plying their trade at the Ramses square for over 30 years, and they’re angry that they now have to get an entirely new location.
