World record holder, Usain Bolt, wins 100m exhibition race in Rio

Jamaican world record holder Usain Bolt cruised to victory in the Mano a Mano 100 metre sprint invitational in Rio de Janeiro on Sunday.
The six-time Olympic champion, suffered from a sluggish start in rainy conditions in the host city of next year’s Olympic Games where he will be bidding for an unprecedented third golden treble. But he would pull away from Ryan Bailey, of the United States, over the last 30 metres to finish in 10.12 seconds. Brazilian Jose Carlos Moreira was third. Bolt is next scheduled to race in the World Relays in the Bahamas next month. In the women’s challenge, Jamaican Veronica Campbell-Brown won her first 100m race of the season in 11.04. America’s Carmelita Jeter was second with Jamaica’s Kierron Stewart third.
