Mixed reactions have greeted the ICC Chief Prosecutor Fatou Bensouda’s application for an indefinite adjournment of Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta’s trial, for lack of evidence. While Kenyatta’s defence is now calling for the charges against him to be dismissed altogether, some legal minds argue that such a move would put to question the court’s ability to hold the powerful to account.
