Tunisia was once considered one of the most stable countries in North Africa. Since the toppling of Zine El Abidine Ben Ali, Islamist extremist forces have gained ground. Two opposition leaders have been assassinated, scores of security staff killed and even government ministers have been targeted. Tunisia’s Constituent Assembly has now met to discuss a law to address terrorism in the country
