Terror Threat Sees Schools Closed in N.Eastern Nigeria
Suspected Islamist militants detonated a bomb in a crowded marketplace in northeastern Nigeria, killing at least 20 people. Nigerian security officials said the late Saturday attack, in the town of Bama, in Borno state, bore the hallmarks of the Al Qaeda-linked militant group Boko Haram. This came as authorities decided to close schools in the Borno state indefinitely, over fears of further attacks. CCTV’s Deji Badmus reports.
