The Kenya Chinese Economic and Trade Association(KCETA) has just reshuffled its board of members. After ballots were cast and counted, a new board is announced with China Road and Bridge Corporation as President,  Huawei Technologies as Deputy President,  and China Wu Yi Company as Secretary General.  Other members of the new board are Power Construction Corporation of China, China Overseas Engineering Group, AVIC International, Keda Ceramics Company Ltd/HouseMart (Sunda International) Co., Stanbic Bank Kenya, China State Construction Engineering Corporation, China Aerospace Construction Group and StarTimes Media Company.   Guo Ce, Economic and Commercial Counselor at the Chinese Embassy in Kenya spoke at the KECTA conference. He highly praised the work of the association’s previous board of members. During his speech, Guo also gave in-depth analysis of the latests trends of China-Kenya relations, especially on economic and trade cooperation. He urged Chinese companies to do more in localization, continue to operate in accordance with Kenya’s law and regulations, and achieve win-win scenarios with their Kenya counterparts by taking up social responsibilities and giving back to the society.
