60 years of diplomatic ties: Nairobi’s overseas Chinese community marks milestone

A seminar was held at the GTC towers in Nairobi, Kenya’s capital on Saturday to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and Kenya.

During the seminar, participants engaged in discussions encompassing various topics, including economic collaboration, cultural exchange, and infrastructural development.

Beyond its commemorative nature, the participants hailed the seminar for serving as a platform to explore further collaborative opportunities between China and Kenya.

Among some of the associations present were the East Africa China Chamber of Commerce, Kenya Chinese Women’s Federation, Kenya Chinese General Chamber of Commerce, and Kenya Chinese Tourism Association among others.
