153 new cases of COVID-19 confirmed in Ghana

153 new cases of COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in Ghana, bringing the country’s total to 7,117, as of Wednesday morning, according to the Ghana Health Service (GHS).

The GHS said 220 more patients had recovered, increasing the number of recovered cases to 2,317, while the death toll stands at 34 after 2 more patients succumbed.

Social distancing is among the measures in place in Ghana, as health workers continue with enhanced contact tracing to minimize the spread of the pandemic.
