Godson Okoye  is the candidate for the position of Presidency in Nigeria 2015 election running from the United Democratic Party (UDP) platform.

He is relatively unknown in Nigeria. Godson is a lawyer by profession.

Godson, 52 years, was born in Port Harcourt, Riverstate in 1963. He studied at the University of Lagos in 1984 then later in 1987 joined Nigerian Law School, Victoria Island Lagos.

After school he worked with law firm and later established his own.

Okoye left law firm in 2002 due to a political appointment. Okoye worked in the senate president’s office from 2002 to 2004.

Why he thinks he is the better candidate

His vision is to make Nigeria secure and prosperous, through effective governance to overcome the current educational, security and power problems.

He believes he can create job opportunities for the unemployed and economic opportunity for the entrepreneurs’.

He aims at stopping a government of a person, by a person, for a person.

This is what Godson thinks

(Punch)“It is our objective to Reclaim the soul of Nigeria from the evil cabal that has held it hostage for a long time and then embark on a reconciliation drive. Thereafter, we will reform the style of politicking in Nigeria, by de-emphasising the role of money.”
