Zimbabwe’s COVID-19 cases edge towards 1,000 mark
The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Zimbabwe is now 985 after three new cases were reported Sunday.
The number of people who have recovered has increased to 328 following eight new recoveries while active cases are 639 and deaths remain at 18, the Ministry of Health and Child Care said in a statement Monday morning.
Of the three new COVID-19 cases, two are citizens who returned from South Africa and one local infection.
The country has done a cumulative total of 88,984 COVID-19 tests to date.
