Zimbabwe banks slash daily withdrawal limits to as low as $20 per day

Banks in Zimbabwe have slashed their daily withdrawal limits to as low as 20 dollars per day as a five month long cash shortage gets worse.

The situation is dire and media reports say some people opted for the cash back alternative from supermarkets,  where the swap cards for shopping items and get cash in return.
