One of the world’s most celebrated contemporary artists, Yinka Shoni-bare, is planning an international artists’ hub in Nigeria.
It will be built in Lagos, the city where he grew up. Shonibare told CCTV about his plans while on a visit to Washington D.C. where he is preparing to erect a sculpture outside the Museum of African Art.
