World’s biggest indoor butterfly park opens in Dubai
Dubai Miracle Garden has won the Moselle Award for New Garden Experience of the Year by the Garden Tourism Awards 2015.
Home to over 45 million flowers, Dubai Miracle Garden covers 72,000 square metres and is located in the Dubailand Area.
Featuring nine domes and covering 1,800 square metres the circular Dubai Miracle Garden has a capacity for 300 people.
The domes are climate-controlled, giving the butterflies a comfortable environment and allowing the domes to be open year-round.
Three domes are home to 15,000 butterflies from all over the world, including 26 different species that will increase to 40 over the next few months.
“This butterfly garden is the world’s largest. It is 2,600 square metres with 15,000 butterflies including butterflies and pupas. Abdel Nasser Rahhal, the managing director of the Dubai Butterfly Garden and Miracle Garden said.
