Zambia has embarked on a program to lure its poor into the banking system.

Supported by the World bank, Zambia is educating its population on the workings of the financial system, expecting them to take advantage of it to grow small businesses.

The program is part of the country’s plans to activate other sectors and move away from over reliance on copper exports.
