A group of women refugees in Kenya have refused to let their unfortunate set of circumstances relegate them to despair and lives of dependence.

They are making elegant scarfs, decorating women’s necks around the world and their own lives too.

The women fled from their countries, mostly because of war, and have now decided to venture into the art in order to make a living.
