Warthog bizarrely gores farm worker to death in Kenya
A warthog bizarrely gored a farm worker to death in Kenya as he was chasing it out of a flower farm, local media report.
The incident happened in Naivasha town located to the northwest of the capital Nairobi.
The worker in his late 40s is reported to have been chasing the stray wild animal from the farm where he worked when they both accidentally fell into an abandoned pit latrine.
Cornered, the animal turned against the screaming worker inside the pit, goring him to death as fellow workers sought to get help for their colleague.
Guards from a nearby farm had to be called to shoot the animal before rescuers could access the worker.
The secretary general of the Kenya Plantations and Agricultural Workers Union (KPAWU) Naivasha branch Ferdinand Juma confirmed the death, terming it as shocking.
