Vote counting continues following ANC elections
Around 5,000 delegates cast their votes in a race that pit Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa and former African Union Commission chairperson Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma.
The two have been engaged in a political battle that is said to have caused divisions in ANC, as they both seek to take over leadership of the party.
The eventual winner will become the ruling party’s candidate for the 2019 presidential elections.
Apart from voting for the party leader, the delegates also cast their ballots for five other top posts.
An announcement is expected later today.
