Read < 1 minute

The United Nations has reiterated the need for dialogue, reconciliation and healing in the South Sudanese state of Yei.

A high-level team led by the UN Humanitarian Coordinator for South Sudan visited the area earlier this week. They say the security situation has deteriorated rapidly after renewed conflict broke out in July.

Thousands of people remain displaced  and many are without access to aid.
