Unemployed youths in Cape Town empower themselves through cooking

A group of unemployed youths from marginalized communities around Cape Town are being given an opportunity to empower themselves through cooking.The students have enrolled in an intensive 3 months training course that is meant to equip with the knowledge and skills required to find work as chefs in some of the city’s top restaurants. Becoming a chef of course requires lots of discipline,good communication skills,team work ethic and passion for cooking,which these young future chefs seem to have in abundance,CCTV’s Travers Andrews spent some time in the kitchen with them and sent this report
