Uganda’s insurance sector registers growth despite poor public perception

The insurance industry in Uganda has registered  a 21 per cent growth.

The regulator attributes this improvement to the country’s economic growth that has led to an increase in insurable assets.

But poor public perception of the industry and the limited insurance products available in the market remains a concern – as CCTV’s Michael Baleke reports..
