Ugandan kids show of their dancing skills in French Montana & Swae Lee’s ‘Unforgettable’ music video
After the release of his dance-heavy record “Unforgettable” last week, French Montana unveils the music video for his beach-ready single with Rae Sremmurd’s Swae Lee.
Shot on the streets of Uganda, Montana incorporates the local dance scene where local dancers – mostly kids – bust crazy moves in the foreground.
The video was recorded in Uganda back in March, and the inspiration for the video stems from Montana’s adoration for Uganda’s Triplets Ghetto Kids and their incredible street dancing.
French Montana, who was born Karim Kharbouch, grew up in Rabat, Morocco on the family estate outside Casablanca. At the age of 13, his family left for New York City, where they settled in the South Bronx. After struggling for two years, his father decided to move back to Casablanca, leaving the family in New York. Montana eventually found himself as the primary breadwinner for the family.
