Uganda were seeking their first points of the AFCON competition against Egypt.
A loss for the Cranes meant an early exit from a tournament they have waited 40 years to compete in and their Coach Milutin Sredojevic was keen to avoid this fate. Unfortunately they were beaten with a late winner by Egypt through their forward Abdallah El Said.
