U.S boosts African crisis force

A group of US Marines debark from a hovePentagon says it will increase the size of its Europe-based African crisis response force to 675 marines. 175 new troops will be sent to a Romanian base, near the Black Sea. They will be part of a team based in Spain, primarily meant for operations in Africa. The additional Marines will be attached to the Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force – Crisis Response Group, which was created following the attack on the U.S consulate in Benghazi, Libya.
