German media are reporting that two Eurofighter military jets have collided during a training exercise in the northeast region of the country.
Local radio station Ostseewelle reports that the two jets collided mid-air shortly before 2PM local time (1200GMT) near Lake Mueritz.
There is no confirmation of whether the pilots of the two aircrafts ejected before the crash.
Some videos have been posted on social media showing plumes of smoke rising from the alleged points of crash.
The German Air Force has however not confirmed the incident yet.
