Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Sunday arrived in Sudan to begin his three nation visit to Africa.

He was received in Khartoum by President Omar al-Bashir, with whom he is expected to hold bilateral talks.

The two leaders are expected to sign a raft of cooperation agreements on various fields.

During President Erdogan’s stay in Khartoum, a Sudanese-Turkish economic forum would be convened, which will be attended by Sudanese and Turkish businessmen.

After his Sudan visit, the Turkish leader will then fly to Chad’s capital N’Djamena, then later to the Tunisian capital Tunis.
