Tunisia lures Chinese tourists with visa-free entry

Tunisia’s looking to China to help boost those tourism numbers. The government is planning to implement visa-free entry to Chinese citizens.

The country’s tourist numbers have dropped sharply following attacks on tourists within its borders. That means a revenue drop for Tunisia of more than 35 percent.

The government is trying to broaden its tourist base so it doesn’t rely so much on the European market.
