Tullow Oil has discovered new oil deposits in Kenya.

It’s latest drilling has unearthed 75 metres of net oil pay in two zones at an exploration well in the northern part of the country. The Emekuya-1 well, as it is known, will eventually be expanded to full field development.

Analysts say the discovery adds more resources to the country’s current oil deposits portfolio.
