U.S. President Donald Trump and DPRK’s leader Kim Jong-un’s summit will take place at the Capella Hotel on Singapore’s Sentosa Island, White House spokeswoman Sarah Sanders said on Tuesday.

“The venue for the Singapore summit between @POTUS and Leader Kim Jong Un will be the Capella Hotel on Sentosa Island. We thank our great Singaporean hosts for their hospitality,” Sanders wrote on her Twitter handle.

The Summit is set to take place on Tuesday, 12 June.

The Summit comes after Secretary of State Mike Pompeo held  talks with a senior North Korean official Kim Yong Chol  in New York last week.

Pompeo said the summit “presents DPRK with a great opportunity to achieve security and economic prosperity.”
