The National Budget documents go missing in Nigeria

Nigeria’s budget documents both in hard and soft copy handed over by President Muhammadu Buhari to the leadership of the National Assembly on the 22nd of December in 2015 according to the Premium Times.
The senate in the country had planned to begin deliberations on the proposed budget on Tuesday before it was declared missing. Premium Times reports that the Senate leader shocked the lawmakers by announcing that the budget documents have been stolen.
The Chairman, Senate Committee of Appropriation, Danjuma Goje, was subsequently mandated to lead a search for the documents and liaise with the presidency, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly Matters, Ita Enang, and the national planning ministry on the matter.
