An exciting day for all football lovers and especially those that follow the English Premier League. The 2016/2017 season kicks off in the afternoon with champions Leicester battling it out at the KC Stadium against Hull City.

Nigeria and Leicester City forward Ahmed Musa will be making his premier league debut as The Foxes look to open the defence of their title with a win.

Manchester City will be at home the Etihad Stadium taking on Sunderland in a much that many will be keen to watch as former Barcelona and Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola leads The Citizens in an official premier league match.

This season has been touted as a kind of champions’ league of managers as five of the world’s best football managers will ply their trade in the premier league in the next 10 months.

Apart from Pep Guardiola and Jose Mourinho at the two Manchester sides, there’s Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool, Ronald Koeman at Everton, Walter Mazzari at Watford and Mauricio Pochettino at Tottenham Hotspur.

You add to this some new faces in the league such as Paul Pogba, Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Manchester United), Nolito, Leroy Sane (Manchester United), Granit Xhaka (Arsenal), Michy Batshuayi (Chelsea) and  Isaac Success (Watford) and you’re sure to have a stellar season which will be bitterly fought on and off the field of play.
