A Tanzanian court also ordered the convict to pay the government over 1.2bn/- being compensation for killing the elephants. The trial magistrate, Mr Chiganga Tengwa, said he was satisfied with the prosecution led by State Attorney Wankyo Simon for proving the case beyond reasonable doubts.
